Building & Activating your Totem
To build a totem you can either use the list and guide bellow to obtain the materials and build the totem yourself or for ease and convenience you can but a totem from the /shop in the custom items section. Whichever method you choose it is recommended you read this guide in full.
Items required to build:
- Daylight Sensor x1
- Observer x2
- Anvil x1
- Green Glazed Terracotta x1
- Orange Glazed Terracotta x1
- Spruce Stairs x4
Once you have got the materials for the totem you will need to find a place to locate it. It is recommended that you find a location that will be central to the area you plan to fish in. One thing to consider when deciding on a location is will you be changing any of the biomes in the fishing area if so you want to position the totem so its area of effect covers this area.
Once you have decided on the location you can use the picture bellow as a guide for how to build it. This guide can be accessed in the /fish menu by clicking on the totem option.
Totem Construction
Now you have built the totem you will need to activate. To activate the totem you will need to be fishing level 20+ and have the following list of ingredients.

| Platinum Fish (any) | 6 |
Once you have gathered the resources and reached level 20 or above in Pyro Fishing you are then able to activate your totem. To activate the totem place the above ingredients into your inventory and click on the lower of the two observers on the totem structure.
