What are the scales?
The fish scales can be used to try and increase the value of your custom fish !!Warning!! the scales can also decrease the value, values calculated are luck based.
When you have scaled your fish, they will gain a random 'weight'. This is directly linked to the price increase, or decrease you obtained. The increase/decrease is ALWAYS a percentage based on the fishes normal sell price.
How to use the scales.
- Open the scales menu with the /fish scales command or through the main menu.
- Drag and drop the fish you want to weigh into any available menu slot.
- Pick your scale risk level: low, medium, high or extreme. As the risk level increase do does the increase or decrease to the fish prices. Be careful though as the chance to profit or get higher prices for your fish decreases with the increased risk level.
- Press the Anvil icon to scale/weigh your fish.
Bellow is an example of a fish that has been weighed and the price has been increased above the base fish prices in /fish shop.

Q.What if I stack fish together in a single stack?
A.The scales work in a specific way. If you stack fish into a single slot within the menu, that entire stack will be scaled for the same price.
However; if you split them up into different slots, they will all obtain a random scaled price. You can risk the entire stack, or individual ones depending on how you feel.
Q.Do scaled fish work with the 'Special Fish' in the fish shop?
A.No. Scaled fish are exempt from the 'special fish' reward, and you will not earn extra money for selling that fish, if it is featured.
